Summer Hills Subdivision

This Project was performed for Hayden Homes in the north Spokane Area.

This 37 lot development included installing water, sewer, storm piping and retention ponds, earthmoving to construct the lots and streets and finish grading. A special challenge on this project was the silty/clay layer of material that was above the bedrock was super saturated and would not stabilize for subgrade preparation. Halme offered to excavate bedrock from the commons area and replace the subgrade material with stable rock to keep the project on track and be ready for homes by summer. Working together with the developer and engineers created a win/win for all involved. Wm. Winkler Company installed the curbing and sidewalks for this development and Inland Asphalt performed the paving.
