Fine Grading

Halme Construction has invested in equipment and training to acquire the capability to finish grade large areas in a short time. The main tools for this work are the GPS controlled machines such as our 163 Caterpillar Grader, 650H and 850J John Deere Dozers and D-8 Cat dozer. These machines with automatic machine control can grade to tolerances less than 0.10 of one foot. Halme has skilled operators to bring the tolerances tighter for work that requires the fine tuning of tolerances of less than 0.10 feet. Halme has completed many projects with needs for fine tolerance grading such as streets, highways, building pads and lagoons. Also in some areas, only an excavator can do the job due to the shape or access area (such as berms and ditches) and Halme has many highly skilled operators that can perform fine grading tasks by this method.
